View Programme

The Wellbeing Hub is a community-created, not-for-profit space in Jersey dedicated to collective wellbeing, connection and creativity. It is a welcoming, professional environment where charities, social enterprises, practitioners, and the wider community come together to work and connect with each other. Rooted in the Racc’moder spirit -  to repair, reclaim, re‐imagine and re‐root - the Hub exists as a shared home for care, collaboration, and long-term impact.

  1. We use an online platform from SpaceBring.com to manage Memberships and the Programme, including room booking and the issuing of invoices/receipts.

  2. Commons: when you sign up, you will be asked to pay by PayPal or Credit/Debit card pro-rata for the number of days between your chosen start date and the end of that month. You will receive a receipt by email, which will include details for setting up a standing order or direct debit if you would like to automate your subsequent monthly payments.

  3. Partnerships: applications are individually reviewed by the Hub Management Team at their fortnightly meetings. If approved, we will activate your membership and email you an invoice with payment options.

  4. Teams: we can invoice you centrally for all approved members of your organisation. Just let us know how many people are in your Team and whom we should invoice in your application form.

USE OF THE HUB

Partner Membership and Tenancy includes free use of the two bookable rooms and the telecoms room during regular working hours, on a fair use basis.  Outside of regular work hours, members may book free of charge one of the two rooms once a week and the main space once a month.  Booking is subject to availability and alignment with the Hub ethos.

The main space and bookable rooms are also used to host the Programme that is available to all members.  (External guests are welcome to attend, and are invited to make a contribution to the Hub or to join as members).

Programme events are delivered by members and invited guests free of charge, or else are paid for by grant or other funding raised for that purpose.

Outside the above scenarios, the main space and bookable rooms may be hired by both members and non-members.

Use of the Hub’s spaces is subject to availability and alignment with the Hub ethos.

The Hub is an ideal base for charities and social enterprises working in the wellbeing space to find a community of mutual support; work on administration and strategy; and incubate and showcase their offerings.  Due to the limits of space, the Hub does not lend itself to members providing their core offline services to their clients.

BOOKING

There 3 spaces at the Hub which can be booked free of charge by members and hired by non-members:

  1. The Main Space: a flexible space for up to 50 people (£40/hour)

  2. “The Womb”: a medium-sized room for 8-12 people (£15/hour)

  3. The Counselling Room: a small private room for 2-4 people (£10/hour)

Note that booking or hiring of the Main Space is subject to approval.

Do contact us if you have any questions.

PURPOSE

The Wellbeing Hub exists to help increase the wellbeing of those who live on the Island of Jersey.

It enables charities and social enterprises to share resources and build a community of mutual support.

It provides a home for research and development into wellbeing needs, and a place to incubate, showcase and grow ventures that will have a positive social impact.

The Hub is a neutral and fertile space to allow new economies to emerge from the interaction of government, charities and businesses.

The Hub belongs to the community that is based there.

The creation of the Hub was made possible by grant funding from the Jersey Community Foundation, the Creative Island Partnership and the Sedel Collings Foundation; by gifts and donations from many companies and individuals; and by the contributions of a large number of wonderful volunteers.

The space was designed by Racc'moder and the project was managed by Khora Partners on behalf of the Jersey Community Relations Trust.

The Wellbeing Hub Ltd is a not-for-profit company limited by guarantee.  The company is run by Khora Partners on behalf of the Wellbeing Hub's members and management team.

The Hub is powered by its members and supported by a growing community of volunteers who help sustain and shape its ongoing work.
