PURPOSE
The Wellbeing Hub exists to help increase the wellbeing of those who live on the Island of Jersey.
It enables charities and social enterprises to share resources and build a community of mutual support.
It provides a home for research and development into wellbeing needs, and a place to incubate, showcase and grow ventures that will have a positive social impact.
The Hub is a neutral and fertile space to allow new economies to emerge from the interaction of government, charities and businesses.
The Hub belongs to the community that is based there.
The creation of the Hub was made possible by grant funding from the Jersey Community Foundation, the Creative Island Partnership and the Sedel Collings Foundation; by gifts and donations from many companies and individuals; and by the contributions of a large number of wonderful volunteers.
The space was designed by Racc'moder and the project was managed by Khora Partners on behalf of the Jersey Community Relations Trust.
The Wellbeing Hub Ltd is a not-for-profit company limited by guarantee. The company is run by Khora Partners on behalf of the Wellbeing Hub's members and management team.
The Hub is entirely dependent on its members and on the support of volunteers for its ongoing existence and operations.
The Wellbeing Hub is at
19 Commercial Buildings, St Helier, Jersey JE4 8PW.
Regular working hours are Mon–Fri, 8:30am to 6:00pm.
Programme sessions are primarily scheduled outside of these hours, in the evenings and at the weekends.
