Join the Wellbeing Hub commmunity!
The Wellbeing Hub is a community-centric co-working and event space with a four tier membership scheme designed to be inclusive and flexible.
Membership is based on a discretionary contribution model – members are invited to invest in the Hub financially and/or in kind, guided by suggested monthly rates rather than being charged strict fees. This ensures affordability and a “pay it forward” ethos in keeping with the Hub’s non-profit, community-led mission.
VOLUNTEER MEMBER
The Hub is a not-for-profit social enterprise which seeks to encourage a more relational and less transactional way of engaging with one another. The Hub is able to keep the costs for the Community down because members are so generous with contributions in kind: contributing time, help, labour and/or donating furniture, decorations or materials.
Events MEMBER
This tier is for Community Supporters: individuals who want to attend workshops, support groups, and community events at the Hub without needing a workspace. Events members receive invitations to all Hub events, talks, and activities, and can use common areas during those events.
Suggested contribution: £25/month.
This tier lowers barriers for anyone seeking community and learning – providing access to support and activities.
Co-Working MEMBER
This tier is for Co-Workers: individuals who want access to the open co-working spaces on a hot-desking basis. In addition to enjoying the same benefits as Events Members, Co-Working Members can drop in to the Hub to work in the shared workspace during open hours, use the Wi-Fi, kitchen, and lounge areas and book private meeting rooms.
Suggested contribution: £60–£140/month
This tier is ideal for freelancers, social entrepreneurs and well-being practitioners who need an occasional desk in a welcoming, collaborative atmosphere.
Anchor Tenant
This tier offers one or more private rooms within the Hub for a charity or social enterprise’s exclusive use. In addition to enjoying the same benefits as Co-Working Members, Anchor tenants have their own office space and 24/7 access
Rates vary according to room size.
All members are considered collaborators in shaping the Hub’s offerings. A culture of co-creation is promoted: members can propose ideas for meet-ups or workshops, volunteer to lead sessions, or join committees to improve the Hub. This community-led model ensures the Hub stays responsive to what its users need, and it fosters a sense of ownership among members.
In summary, the Hub’s operating model blends elements of a co-working space, community center, and social club. It is volunteer-friendly and contribution-based, lowering financial barriers for participation while still providing structure and sustainability.
This inclusive membership scheme will cultivate a diverse mix of users – from professional therapists to peer supporters to creatives – all unified by a common purpose of improving mental health and wellbeing in Jersey.
